Security & Privacy Architecture

Privacy as a mathematical certainty.

At Syncere Labs, we believe that your personal relationships are none of our business. We designed Mutuality and our underlying infrastructure so that we physically cannot access your private data. We don't rely on "promises" not to read your data; we rely on mathematics that make it impossible.

1. Zero-Knowledge Architecture

Traditional CRMs and social networks store your data in plain text on their servers, meaning their employees, their advertisers, or hackers can read it. Mutuality utilizes a Zero-Knowledge architecture. Your notes, connection details, and relationship timelines are encrypted locally on your physical device before they ever touch our servers. Because we do not possess your master decryption keys, we cannot read your data.

2. End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)

All sensitive relationship data synced across your devices is secured using industry-standard End-to-End Encryption (AES-256). The only entity that can unlock and view this data is you, authenticating via your device's native biometric enclave (FaceID / TouchID).

3. Local AI Execution

We believe in intelligence without surveillance. When Mutuality uses Artificial Intelligence to extract context from your voice notes or suggest the perfect time to reach out to a friend, those AI models run directly on your physical hardware. We do not send your private relationship logs to third-party cloud AI providers (like OpenAI or Google) to be processed or used as training data.

4. Data Minimization & Telemetry

We only collect what is strictly necessary to keep your account functioning. This is limited to unencrypted metadata such as your email address (for login), basic payment processing tokens, and anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs. Your actual relationship graph and the contents of your notes remain completely dark to us.

5. Intentional Friction & The "Warm Web"

Security isn't just about encryption; it's about protecting your attention. We engineer our tools to get out of the way. We do not employ infinite scrolls, dopamine-driven notification loops, or social graph mapping. Enter the context you need, put the screen away, and get back to the actual human standing in front of you.
